Are you ever-ready for 100?

Ready for 100 is a research initiative that explores the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for Singapore’s residents, employers, healthcare practitioners and policymakers, with a longer lifespan expectancy.

Ready for 100

In 1990, there were 50 centenarians in Singapore. By 2015, that number had multiplied to 1,100 and continues to grow. The Ready for 100 research series aims to discover and explore the readiness of Singapore’s residents. Through this, we would be equipped with the necessary knowledge and understanding to tackle these gaps that we face.

With advances in technology and health, many Singapore residents now hold the potential to live to 100. To help Singapore’s residents better prepare to live a long and successful life, we commissioned Economist Impact to survey the population and evaluate their readiness for 100.
